Title: 51 and going strong.

I took my Pagoda out for a drive this past Sunday morning and snapped these pix.  Up close, there are some dents, dings and chips but for original paint I think it looks pretty respectable and I’m quite proud!

Beautiful.  One of the nicest color combinations.

Beautiful car and congrats on family ownership for 51 years. Mine will have it's 54th Bday in a few days and we are of a lucky few that have been able to have one of these cars in our lives for so many years.

When dad bought the car it was driven from his home to a golf club daily for the first 10 years of its life.  After that he took it out weekly to keep it running and the battery charged.  He changed the oil himself, as well as some other light maintenance chores.  After he turned 95, my brother and I convinced him it was time to give up his driving and the car sat for several years before I took it over.  It’s always been garaged and I think that’s what has saved the paint though it does need some correction.  He turned 102 last month and I drove it up to show him and literally the entire senior living facility came out to see it.  He was quite proud to tell everyone about it.

That's a lovely story Len, congratulations to your dad for reaching 102!

Not many families can say they still own and use something they bought 51 years ago, let alone a car
