My trunk lid is not coming down enough so it is not flush with the fenders. I figured that this could be adjusted either on the lower or upper lock unit. The upper lock can be adjusted forward/aft, sideways and down by placing shims underneath, but not upwards. The lower lock cannot be moved at all. Anybody ever done this :?:

I had the same problem, there are rubber stops on each outer edge of the trunk lid. I raised one by adding a rubber washer and it made my gap perfectly even!! Maybe both of yours need to be taken down a little

No rubber stops on mine. The only thing that determines how low the lid can go is the lock.

I've got rubber stops on the rear lip of my trunk lid. I don't know if they're adjustable. They spin, but don't seem to go in/out.

There should be a fairly large round rubber bumper on the left and right sides of the lid. They pop into the holes you'll see there.
