Hello everyone.
I dismantled my fuel injection pump because my 1969 280 SL Euro manual is too rich says the mechanic.
It took me three hours and thanks to the manual on this site. It’s not so difficult.
The spark plugs are black and there are holes when I accelerate and black smoke behind me at the same moment.
It’s good for anti mosquitoes as I live in a hot country but bad for the planet and my engine…
No way to solve the problem with tuning so I decided to send my pump for revision.
Do you have any reliable adress in Europe, SLS recommends specialists in France but I would like to know if there are shops in Australia or New-Zealand because it’s closer from home. And seen the costs for transportation nowadays if I can limit the bill it would be great for me.
