I’m no doctor but I suspect that’s a permanent scar. 😞

Now if you can somehow get a palm tree imprint on your leg you'll have a likeness of the S.C. State Flag!

Could be worse.  A friend bent over in front of a woodstove when he was naked.  He now had part of a moose's head burned into his butt.

On one of our cruises at Massachusetts Maritime Academy a senior leaned against a  a burner pulled fresh out of the firebox on the ship’s steam plant and instantly branded Babcox Wilcox backwards into his arm for life.

Couldn’t help but to laugh.

It would be much cooler if you had both, and then used a magic marker to fill in the "pupils".

Alex
You can say it’s a dueling scar!  These were seen as a ‘badge of honour’,  as early as 1825, predominately in Germany and Austria.

Seems somewhat appropriate explanation to friends and colleagues if they ask, given how you received this injury 🤣🤣

On a serious note, hope the pain has now subsided
