Title: NEED ADVICE

I am in the process of changing the motor in my 1967 230SL
to a v-8 motor from a 500SEC. I hope to have the change completed
by Ohio tech meet in July.  I still have a few parts that I need.
Any advice on where to purchase, the best quality & approx. cost would be greatly appreciated.
 Navy seat covers(or replacement seat that would be an easy change)
 Navy floor mats
 Grill star (or complete grill)
 Navy soft top
 Head light lens

I will be glad to give advice over the phone as to where I got my upholstry and soft top.  I also have an extra grill.  If this is not acceptable chat room behavior, let me know.  If it is OK, let me know how I can go about giving him my number.  Thanks, Will

I think this is completely acceptable, though I can't speak for the administration, I think it's only blatantly commercial type posting, that get's frowned upon. I think we want to encourage knowledgeable folks like yourself, and I remember that you left the original Yahoo group because someone took issue with something you had posted. The rest of us were the losers in that exchange.
