I don't know if this is hype or have I been sleeping at the wheel.
I went to get my annual "Father's day special" 5 gallon drum of Rotella Diesel oil at the local chain store and not was it not on sale (its always on sale for week before Father's day) but they had none. None. I asked the kid behind the counter when they are getting more in and he said that they have none coming for at least a few months as the additives used for the diesel oils are unavailable due to low demand for other oil products during Covid namely aviation fuel which translated to no where to store the products until the other products get used up. This kid seemed to know what he was talking about.
The other oils I could use were double the price $45/gallon????
Is there still Rotella in the USA this week?

I just checked NAPA online and all but one Rotella was available at their local store.
Like anything and everything else, inventory low, prices up. Go back to the last oil thread from a couple of months ago. Someone complaining about the unavailability of Mobil1. It was not only available but locally. However it was on sale and I got a great deal delivered to my doorstep from NAPA…free shipping too.
Just look and with the price of fuel, don’t go driving around looking. Look online or make calls.

I bought Rotella a few weeks ago (T4 I believe), there was plenty on the shelves at my local O'Reilly's.
