You might be wondering about the posts commenting on the new grill badge and pins that members have been receiving in the mail.
The Board of Directors wanted to show their appreciation for those on the forum that have been long-term members by providing a commemorative anniversary grill badge and matching pins. We wanted this to be a surprise. We have over 1300 full members world-wide. In this first round, we are recognizing the 93 members who have supported the club through their continued membership that reached the 15 year or more anniversary milestone in 2022. Approximately half of these 93 members have been with us since the start of the forum in 2003!
This club only exists through the support, both participation and financial, of its members. Whether you have been with us for 1 year or almost 20 years, please join us in recognizing our valued members. We look forward to many more years together. So let's celebrate and thank the 15+ year members for all their contributions!

There have been several topic threads here on this. There are at least two sets of photos published in the first threads.
As I write this these are the top three threads, one of them is a “big thank you”and the other is “what a pleasant surprise.”
It should be noted, for I’m certain someone may ask, that this 15 year award is for FULL members, not Associates or Guests.

Look for Dorian in that page. He ran the website at http://www.pagoda113.com and when https://sl113.org won the war, he graciously donated all of his content to us, which is now incorporated in the Technical Manual.

What a pleasant surprise it was to receive this commemorative anniversary grill badge and matching pins in the post today :) I felt like a child receiving a new toy ;D
A huge thank you to The Board of Directors ( especially Amy M for posting ) and A Salute to all the Pagoda SL Group members & non members for sharing their love and respect of their cars in being involved in this all so valuable goto webpage.

I am a member of 11 marque groups altogether and tell anyone who will listen that this group is by far the best of the lot. Thanks to all the full members around the world who commit to keeping this unique group on solid ground and to all the contributors to the vibrant conversations on these forums every day.

Make no mistake, Alex D drove this bus home to make it happen. The rest of us simply fell into line. We already had a proven vendor capable of providing fabulous quality badges at affordable prices. We just had to give them a design to manufacture. That was a collaborative effort amongst the board.
But the board thanks YOU and all other members that make this a great organization.

I agree with all the comments above! It's a group effort among many on the board with Alex at the helm, especially on this project. This all being said, it is the strong membership which is the true foundation of any club! Again, we thank all the members for your continued support!

It's a thought, it might be fine one day to see many of us on little screens on our computers sharing our thoughts or just popping in to say hi while doing Pilates at home or even sat in our cars while in the garage ;D

I received today the nice 15th anniversary badge and pins.
Thanks to the board and all who had the very good idea and those who did the work..
So now all of us who received the badge MUST set it on theiir pagodas.

I was genuinely surprised, and delighted to receive my badge. I am proud to be associated with a group who understands our purpose and sticks to it with such fidelity. This is a site where there are no stupid questions or churlish responses. We are ladies and gentlemen who behave with the style and elegance of our cars. It's hard to believe it's been 18 years. Thank you all!
