In the process of rebuilding my short fuel pump. Bought a kit that has most all the parts needed but found that the brackets that hold the brushes are lifting off their mounting plate. Looks too intricate to remove the plate so I'm wondering if I just slide some JB Weld under the brackets and squeeze until cured, if that might be an adequate fix. Any thoughts?
