Title: Finally! Hard evidence for California Coupe numbers

The seller of this 250SL on BaT says there were 1,110 units made. This would contradict other estimates that 15% of all Pagodas were delivered as Coupes without a soft-top

Without a soft top doesn't always mean that it would be a California Coupe.

I knew someone would comment about the way I phrased this. I am well aware of the fact that there was a "no-soft-top" option that was not a California coupé.

Where is the documentation?  Anyone can through a number at us but he did not state where he got his info...
