Title: Where do they go?

I'm sure someone can tell me where these aluminium parts / sheilds should be fitted. I marked them right and left, looks like waxoil on one side.

These go behind the seats on left and right side. I believe they are covered with carpet when finished. There are also two related pieces that cover the lower B pillar that are covered with leather or MB tex. The pieces your question refers to are located to the rear of the pieces that cover the B pillar.  Lee

Thanks Lee for a quick reply,  I've fitted them now, I just need to find where I put the adjacent forward facing pieces now!
Do you know if the vertical carpet (which seems to fit under the soft top compartment lip) goes further forward than the top lip?

Look, I could go to the garage and take a picture for you. But my wife had me fit new curtain rails today and I cannot move from the sofa now... well, it was drilling in the ceiling, you know.

Hi Pawel, I hope you're feeling better today. Ok, I understand where the carpet goes to. Are the pieces which close the gap at the B post aluminium or fibre board, I can't find mine, I put them somewhere safe.  Thanks Gordon

Hi Gordon,
I hope the attached photos help. They show the right side only.  The upholstered pieces are aluminum, I think.
