I’m in the process of reattaching various parts onto my engine after a rebuild by Metric Motors. I’m wondering if there is a central resource anywhere that provides the torque settings for bolting on assemblies such as the oil filter housing, water pump and housing, powered steering pump and bracket, thermostat housing, etc. I have a copy of the BBB and Haynes manual but finding such info seems to be a hit and miss proposition…
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Maybe in the technical data ("tabellenbuch") book. Small format, it should be listed in the technical manual.

There are some torques listed in the BBB and in Haynes. Certainly not all, but for engine and suspension, they are there.

Here is an example of the 1969 book available on eBay. These are not specific to 113s but cover the whole range. A valuable resource

Thanks!
Maybe a project for a future day - add a chapter to the Technical Manual with all the various torque values…

Many vehicle manufacturers publish torque values for specific connections but also generic according to fastener size. I will look through my stuff to see if I have something we could use for items that are not individually specified. There may be a DIN standard.

Take a look here.
