Hello guys,I’m owning since 14 yrs a 280 sl for which I’ve decided to undertake a complete restoration. I would very much appreciate some advice for some spare parts suppliers on continental Europe. Untill now I had found Niemoller from Germany and Classic Mercedes Parts from Belgium.
Thanks in advance!

Hi John,
No,but I shall supervise very closely. As the car isn’t in a bad condition I’m still wondering if it’s worth to do it?

If there is no rust and the car drives well, I would leave it alone, maybe make small improvements from time to time and just enjoy it.
Giving it to a shop to restore can go into many directions, not all good. What are you considering having done?
