Title: speedo cable for 230 sl 66'

i ordered and received a new speedo cable from buds benz and low and behold it was not the one i needed.
the new cable (supposed to be for an automatic) was longer than the old one and had a large tranny end.
the old cable had a small tranny end that was not much larger than a large ink pen in diameter.

buds is trying to figure out what is going on.  they sent me the same mb part number as the old cable that i bought from mb several years ago.
my tranny plate say GA 230 sl E on it.  I will let buds know this info and hope it helps.

any ideas?

well, sure enough, buds had mis stocked this part.  the correct one is on the way.
