Would someone (or a couple of someones) be kind enough to post a photo or two of the upper mounting bracket for their Kangol belts? (Or email me photos, if you prefer.) I'm specifically interested in what the metal bracket that the webbing passes through at the top (before it comes over the shoulder) looks like, and how its attached and oriented. My car is a 230, but I doubt the later cars would be any different.
I think I may have the wrong bracket; the folks at Buds Benz say it looks correct, but I'm doubtful. I need more information. (I'd post a photo of my setup, but it looks so hokey I'm embarassed to!)
Thanks a lot!

Dick,
Thank you very much for the photos. For clarity, I'm attaching a couple of mine. As you can see, there are a couple of differences:
- your belt is sewn at the upper bracket, while mine threads through and is attached to a plastic slider for length adjustment, and
- because of this, your metal bracket is narrower and your belt is folded through it.

So, how do you adjust the length of the shoulder section of your belts? (Or are they fixed and you only adjust the lap part? Maybe this is my whole problem...hmmm)
Thanks!

P.S. I still don't seem to have the knack of correctly uploading and pointing to photos!

David: It appears that your seat belt brackets are reversed: The one you have on top should be at the floor together with the metal oval ring. That's the way mine is. That way the sewn end is up at the pillar. You can still adjust the length. Try it.

Engineer,
Sadly, I'm stuck in NY for another several days (no offense to NY, just 3,000 miles from the Pagoda!). I'll try this as soon as I return. Thank you.

David: It could be worse: You could live in NY. Then you'd enjoy: Sky high rent, Snow & salt on the roads in the winter, Hot summers and a the pleasure of driving your Pagoda very slow in Manhattan traffic. Parking? Try a parking garage at $25/hr
