Title: Interior Door pull handles in 230 SL

Hello all
I wish to know if all cars from the 230 SL production had interior pull handles ( not just the arm rests ), as standard, on the doors.

They did. Very early had them o n both sides, then the driver's side was deleted. I can check the vin later,  but see the Technical Manual, there should be some info there.

When you look into Tech manual, interior, upholstery, door trim, you will see information there that until November 63, chassis number 0914 there were pull handles on drivers side, then the drivers side pull handle was deleted.

Here is a discussion about the two grab handles. They are different, the one on the driver's side is flatter because of interference with the steering wheel.
