Title: Wheel colour on 230 SL

Good morning all.
I need to confirm that the wheel of the 230 sl should always be in body colour, whilst the hub cap colour is the colour of the hard top if this exists.
Therefore The wheel has two colours visible , apart from the tire black and the chrome.
Did read the manual but " maybe too early in the morning here " there is no mention of a different coloured hard top.

I think that if we put aside any potential customer's special requests yes - the rims were body colour and hub caps the hard top colour. Could happen hard top was the same colour as the body colour.

I wonder, however, if hard top was not ordered - were the hub caps body colour? I would have thought so...

Anyway - you have both colours codes on the paint code plate.
