Modified- 27- sept - car is no longer available.
A friend of mine bought a 1989 560sl with about 65,000 miles about 18 months ago. He rarely drives it and wants to sell it. He’s added a few hundred miles at most. Like me, he also spends time in Europe.
Its a very impressive 107. It might rival some of the best ones out there. The car is located in the Atlanta Georgia USA area.
The link is from the dealer he bought the car from and the photos are 18 months ago but the condition is about the same. This is a very good presentation from the dealer he bought it from.
Please refrain from advising to put it on BAT as I know my friend will not do the work required for photos and does not have the knowledge nor patience for the questions. He knows very little about Mercedes. I am helping to show it here before he broadcasts the car. If the car was not of this quality, I would not share it here.
For those that don’t like to negotiate, the price is $32,500. For those that must negotiate, we can always start you at a higher price.
If you are interested, please contact me via Personal Message through our pagoda sl113 site. Do not contact the dealer — they no longer own this car.
Thanks

Sorry. Not implying that you were being rude or offensive. Good luck with the sale.

Great car ! If it was Portugal registered I would give you 32.500 and consider it euros not usd and drive it away with a huge smile ......import taxes here make out of EU imports ridiculously expensive ... Tax on engine size and co emissions plus 23% VAT on both the tax and the car....mimimum 70K euros on top of sale price to legalize it here . 32k usd would be a not very tidy ( condition 4) 280 SLC ( not the SL).
However if EU country sale (UK now excluded...) it would be +20k taxes instead of +70k€
Good luck with the sale
Cheers

LOVE IT! Too many people feel they have to start an argument negotiation on price, regardless of anything. So that's a great line.
Reminds of the meme someone sent me...
