Saw a MB in "disguise" today entering the Jebel Ali port area a Merc with a bizzarre matte black paint scheme. suspect it is a test car for hot climates. looked like a large A-class, about the size of a 190 but with an estate car type rear end. No badges but the tail lights gave it away.
Good day for testing, bit of a sandstorm and 46 degrees C about 114 degrees F

B class?
or bigger, R class?

Tosh,
I am not up on the modern "class" designations for MB, but I would guess it was about the size of the modern 230 you see in the UK, but with a roofline at the rear very like an A-Class and a tailgate.
Quite tall too

Thanks Rodd
It was bigger than that and the rear and rear roofline looked different
Probably be going back to Jebel Ali later and I know where the MB Facility is, now where's my camera? [:p]
Cheers
