How many people out there do you think bought their Pagodas brand new?
You’d need at least 50 years of continuous Pagoda ownership.
Maybe you have the original metal warranty plate, with your name stamped on it. Maybe an original sales receipt or state registration card.
Not many of those people left, I’d guess. I only know of one.

I am another one. Bought my 230SL new from Enyart Motors in Albuquerque in February, 1966. I have owned it ever since. I have the registration slip from the first time it was licensed. Also have the metal warranty plate. I think I have the sales receipt but I have not seen it in recent years.

I know there are a few of us that post on this forum. Mine will be 53 years old in a couple of weeks. There was a series in Pagoda Notes that profiled several of us a few years ago.

Very Impressive.
I was 8 when my 280SL was manufactured. I bought it when I was 25 and have had it for 33 years now and loved every minute of it!
I still do have my Mom's 300SEL 3.5 that she bought new from the dealer.
