Post by: BartSt on September 01, 2021, 11:34:24
All,

How do I remove the 2 pins (per chain guide)?

Is this the method?

I like to run a tap down the threads before I start. Nothing like breaking a  screw off in one of those pins.  >:(

I use a slide hammer that I made 35 years ago from an old cylinder head bolt with the end turned down to M6 and a lump of round bar about 70mm diameter and 30mm thick as the hammer.

Don't you have to remove the radiator in order to use a slide hammer?

No, but it is wise to put a sheet of metal in front of the radiator so you don't damage it.
