Hi all I was wondering if anybody has a picture of a washer pump and where it is located on the car.Mine is totally missing and I have no idea where it mounts and what it looks like.
Thanks Jim

Hi,
see here: https://www.sls-hh-shop.de/main/en/mercedes-280-500sl-c-r-c107-/82-b-86-wash-and-wipe-assy-windscreen-headlights/82-b-86-wash-and-wipe-assy/elwasher-pump-107-early-no-name-brand-p-14283.
Original pumps had round connectors.
The pump sits on the left side near the relays.

thanks for your reply.Do you know how the bellows that is on the floorboard is supposed to work.Is it supposed to prime the pump or something like that?
-
The bellows on your floor is the windshield washer pump.
-
I thought the pump was the one in the picture WRe posted in this thread.

Jim,
You have confused them all, you are on a W113 Pagoda site and the photo of the pump was for a Pagoda.
Your question related to a later model sedan and as 280SE Guy said the bellow on the floor was the pump in your car.
Maybe better to use a W108 Forum.😉😉

Jim,
The picture that Wre posted is likely for a W113. The 108 pump is a mechanical foot pump as shown above as well. One line of tubing goes from the foot pump to the water bag inside the engine compartment. Another line from the bag to the nozzle. No electric pump inside the engine compartment (1970 108)

Ok thanks now I understand more. The thing confusing me then is that there is an electric switch mounted on the foot pump. Do you know what that is for? Also I didn't know there is a W108 forum. Do you know where I can find that?
-
The switch will operate the wipers when you press the foot switch calling for windshield washer fluid.

got it thanks to everybody
