Title: Dubai, UAE Pagoda

Finally met Mo here in Dubai. So I guess we have had the first international meeting of the Group's United Arab Emirates chapter.

Mo says there are another 5 pagoda's in Dubai that he knows about.
He thinks there maybe more in the other Emirates, such as Abu Dhabi.

I have put some pictures of his car in the gallery, sorry about the quality I can't get the hang of all this cropping and sizing for the file size issue! So his car is a lot nicer than it looks in the pictures.

Hope everybody will give him lots of support to get the other 5 into the group. :)

Oh by the way I AM working while I am down here ;)

It was lovely meeting you. Hopefully we can get together again next week so I can take you to the garage where i get my Pagoda checked.
Once I get a few things sorted out with the car I will hopefully devote some time to getting the other 2 or 3 Pagoda owners here in Dubai (Whom I personally met) to join the group. I think they will find it most useful and fun just like I did.
Thanks again to Doug who REALLY raised my awerness about these great cars. I'm glad I got one.

Now we need some more detailed pix. Or better yet, how about arranging a car show over there where all the Pagoda owners get together? It would be amazing to assemble every W 113 in an entire country in one spot.

I will attempt to arrange a gathering for the few Pagoda owners in the Emirate of Dubai in the near future. I have already met 2 of them who advised me that there are a couple more. I will also try to verify the number of Pagodas in Dubai through the motor vehicle department. I will keep you posted.

I'm hoping our new employer will send us to Dubai to check out their operations there. If I do go, it will be in spring or later, but I'll be sure to post to the forum so we can see some beautiful cars and meet the new Dubai chapter members--go, Mo!
