These two pieces of Chrome, (on Brass, see attachment), each weighing just under 1 1/2 pounds; 26” long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The slot on the top is for a rubber seal of the sorts and is attached with 5 screws. I always thought they were for a W112 300SE Convertible. That, I’m fairly certain is not correct, and they definitely are not for the W111 Coupe. If anyone can identify these parts I would be grateful; it would almost be criminal to trash them! It kind of looks like hardtop chrome.

Those are the chrome strips that secure the footwell panels. They install with the cutaway in the up position.
