Title: Original "Extra" Cost for the 5-Speed Transmission

Does anyone know what the original "extra" cost for the 5-speed transmission was in 1967 on a new 250 SL?

Hi,
in Feb. 1971 the ZF 5-speed transmission costs 1460 DM (~402 USD in those days) for a 280SL same price for a hardtop.
