Can anyone recommend an installer for Pagoda soft top in the Greater Washington DC area?

If you don't have any mechanical issues with your soft top frame, or the frame/window fit, I can tell you that Lim's Custom Top and Upholstery on Tyco Road in Tyson's did my top back in 1989.  The first work they did for me was in 1984, when theyy did the complete interior, fitted the half and full tonneau covers and side curtains and installed the top on my "54 M.G. TF.  I have had other work done by them on other cars (for instance they completely redid the headliner on my '87 Jaguar XJ6 VDP a few years ago) and have always been pleased with their work.

If you have frame/fit issues, or simply want the best, Gernold at SL Tech in Maine is the Meister.  A number of people in the DC area have sent their Pagodas to Maine.

Lims is no longer answering my emails nor any messages.

There is another good place a bit further out in Gaithersburg MD.

Rankin Upholstery
8021 Cessna Ave. Gaithersburg MD 20879
301-926-3111

Have had my headliner done there.

I did my own several years back in a weekend with a little help from the wife.

I need a soft top guru in the Chicago area. Recurring problem with "stuck" frame. Last time I took the top off of the car and drove both to Black Forest in the Milwaukee WI area.
For a couple of reasons this is no longer practical.
Someone with specific pagoda experience would obviously be best, but all will be considered.  The tech manual writeup is no help in my specific case.

Thanks

I had mine done here:

I was lucky that I could drop it off and pick it up, but there were many there that were shipped there.
