Title: Help!
Post by: winston the browndog on April 22, 2021, 00:10:23
Does anyone know what the 4 extra holes behind the water pump housing are for? Some of them have Helicoils in them .
Also, I am replacing all the rubber hoses and lines in the engine compartment and wanted to know if O need to bleed any of the lines or prefill any of the reservoirsfor for starting the engine ? Gas , oil , water  and  air . Thanks so much , Paul

Not able to answer the question about the four holes.

For the others use the search function (the one in the line of items beginning with "Home") and poke around. There is a ton of information on the site to address the items you have asked about, and it will give you some good background on the why's and wherefors.

You might be looking at the ends of the pins that retain the cam chain guides.  They are simply pressed into the block but are threaded internally one one end to allow a tool to be screwed into them to pull them back out.
