Title: 123 Distributor
Post by: CJHenderson on March 25, 2021, 22:34:33
I'm seriously considering the 123 distributor. What is the difficulty in installing and is the programable the best way to go?

it is pretty straight forward providing you have the right person to do the job.  I also installed a new bosch red ignition coil

It is not difficult at all. I have and would suggest the Bluetooth one.  It gives you the most flexibility.  Love it. You can review the instructions on their web-side as well. Do you have an US 280 with emission controls?

I agree with Dirk, especially if your car has the emissions control (operating or not). Get the Bluetooth version and program it to totally ignore vacuum inputs. Get all the advance you need by programming the centrifugal curve.
