Title: Slow running

My engine will not tick over properly unless I disconnect the vaccum pipe, grateful for any help.
Now my ignition light is staying on! it never rains but it pours !!

if you increase the idle speed, does the light go off?

No it stays on at any revs

Re-ignition light possibly alternator not working correctly ?, had the same problem a few years ago, swapped it for an uprated 55amp version at the same time.
