Title: 230SL Colours

Hi - could someone just help me confirm the colors here for originality.

I m pretty sure original color is Metallic Silver, cannot read the interior or anything else?

180 silver grey.  116 caviar (black) interior.  It also looks like your car had a hard top only. (415)

Thanks for that, the Silver could be Metallic right as I could only find 180G.

Makes sense for the hard top as I don't have a soft top for her, can you still fit one?

Inside, that's so helpful too - guessing MB Tex right?

Anything else you can tell?

565 is the kinder seat side ways.  600 is garnish moldings on hard top.

You can add a soft top.  The frames are very expensive.  If you find a frame make sure it has all the trim pieces to hold the weather strip and the spring attachments are not broken.  I added a soft top to mine in 2009 when they were cheaper.  I had to find the trim pieces and some are no longer available.

The interior would be MB Tex, the first digit of the upholstery code (in your case 116) indicates the type of material 1 for tex, and 2 for leather.

Typical Germany-delivered car.
Not many special order items included.
Albeit... apears to have power steering as well (42/2). ;)

The carpet color is never included on the datacard; it goes concurrent with the interior.
So, caviar MB-Tex interior (Code 116) means black or charcoal square weave (Haargarn Bouclé) carpet.
