Title: W113 Facebook Groups

A strange topic to raise, but I recently joined a couple of pagoda oriented groups on Facebook. I don’t know if any of you are in these groups, but I’ve found them to be a bit opened ended and unstructured.  Therefore, they're of limited interest to me

But a funny thing happened with startling correlation after I joined them - suddenly I had a proliferation of invitations from women who (at least on appearances) are trolling for older men with revealing profiles. 

I’m very security conscious with social media and online profiles (I’ve always felt safe here for over a decade - although my participation has been limited in recent years), but I’m wondering if others of you are in these groups and/or had similar experiences.

For some of the reasons you mentioned, I also limit my activity/participation on "social media". I do not do Facebook, Instagram, etc.

I am on some of those groups, but no contacts from women...  :-\ :-\

I too belong to some of the Pagoda Groups and being a CarNut I do seam to ignore all of the invitations to become some woman's Friend. Unless she poses with her Pagoda then I might tell her about our friendly group with all the nice Gentleman here :) If a man posts in the Groups  about his Pagoda issues I point him to www.sl113.org

Chris, I did have some of the Frend Invitations from Wuman, as said I do ignore them.

It is an on-going struggle. Requires permanent attention and balanced behaviors, depending on perceptions about which side is winning any given moment....
