What does FAG mean for front wheel bearing. At SLS.com I have two selection, one without FAG at end of discerption and the other without the code FAG?

FAG is a supplier of bearings.  Other suppliers are Timken, IKO, Koyo, NSK, SKF, ITN, INA and Nachi.  There are probably others as well.

For me, not being expert in this, FAG and SKF seem to be the most reputable ones here, but I am not sure if the others are not equally renown.
