Title: Tachometer cable for RHD

Hi guys,

Happy New Year to all. Need some help. I have been searching for the tachometer cable for a RHD 250SL which is my car. Cant seem to find it but found many LHD ones for 30euros. Found one guy who had a RHD for 280euros but it was gone by the time i contacted him. 2 questions
1- is there any particular reason why a RHD cable be more expensive then a LHD cable
2 - anyone know where i can get a RHD cable?

Hi Mohan

The SL shop in UK have this one listed, you need to check with them if it is RHD though

The RHD ones are longer than LHD due to the location of the instrument on the RHS of the car.

I think you can buy it at Mercedes dealers. PN A 113 542 08 07, it is about GBP 200-250.

Thanks Pawel. I am just puzzled at the price difference between the LHD which cost about £30 & the RHD costs £250.
