Title: Pagoda World V

Very much enjoying my (first) copy; especially M. Egan's comments on the optional heavy duty suspension being useful in Third World countries to include downtown Washington D.C.! 8)

Big thanks to M. Egan for the effort on the 5 speed and optional equipment stories :D

Pagoda World #5 is completely out the door now. If you were a Full Member as of a week ago, yours is either in your hands now or on its way.  The last issues just left the post office in Manhattan (along with a lot of tax returns from last-minute filers).

My apologies for the delay and many thanks to everyone for their continued support.

I just got my copy of the latest Pagoda World, Great stuff!

An excellent article about options, but I was a bit surprised there was no mention of the the "Holy Grail" of options, the hardtop with the sunroof.

I also liked the top ten signs of Pagoda Ownership, numbers 10, 6 and 2 sum it up pretty well for me.

Keep up the fabulous work!

Others will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that was not an MB factory or dealer option.  I believe I remember reading that it was done aftermarket.  Anyone know for sure?

Ex factory, option code 411, as of 1970
According to previous discussions, also at other forums, there were two suppliers, Golde (crank operated) and Webasto (T-handle). On special order, an electrically operated Golde sliding roof was also available.

Has that code been added to our options database?
