Thought I had an electrical problem last week but turned out to be the fuel pump . I’m getting two long pumps rebuilt by H&R fuel injection . First pump is done ,second pump is apart but should be done today . They are great to work with and fast turn around on the pump . Sharing as not many out there rebuilding long pumps .

This is very timely, I may need to have the my pump rebuilt too. Could you please share their contact information? And could you also share what their turnaround time is?
Many thanks,
Brian

I dropped off the pumps Wednesday afternoon and I picked up the rebuilt pump early today . The second pump should be done by tomorrow as parts needed to finish had to be sourced and arrived today .I live in Manhattan and the drive to H & R fuel injection was about an hour drive . https://goo.gl/maps/FUmfs794FTRNJvSL6 . Hans son Marty now does the service and continues doing excellent work .

A few questions. What were the car's symptoms? How did you narrow it down to the fuel pump? Did the rebuild cure the problem? What was the rebuild cost?
Thanks.

The car cranked but wouldn't turn over. I didn't hear the fuel pump with ignition on , I had the fuel pump serviced due to a leak about a year ago so I thought that would be the last thing that would break . I checked the #4 fuse then for power at the pump which was good but no sound at the pump . The 230SL has the rebuilt pump and all seem to run good now .
