Title: MB - Euro delivery program

This may need to be moved to Off Topic, but it is related to MB and what some members have done in the past and may have wanted to do in the future.

I learned from a friend of mine (MB salesman that specializes is Euro delivery) - the program has been discontinued as of 1 Nov 2020. I knew it had been suspended because of the pandemic, but this was a shocker - to kill the whole thing.

Audi did the same to their program more than a year ago. Americans cannot really travel to the EU yet...travel carries some serious restrictions. You cannot even DRIVE across the border to Canada...

What a shame.
Many years ago I picked up my mum’s little A class from the factory. Was a brilliant few days away. Was disappointed that it only covered one person and anyone accompanying, from memory, didn’t get a discount. Put a bit of a downer on the whole ‘adventure’. Fortunately I had a friend who was well paid and a petrolhead as well, so all worked out well in the end😁

Yes, but there's a reason for that.
