All original except paint, soft top and stainless steel exhaust. Second owner since 1987. 187000Km. Needs some TLC to be a real stunner. Wintered in a heated garage for the last 10 years. $12,000

That's the body style for a USA 350SL. They made a million of them.

That's definitely a standard. You can see the clutch pedal in one of the pictures.

...you can also see the shift pattern on top of the shift lever/knob.
If I am not mistaken, the first R107 in Europe was a 350SL also. 2,8l came a little later

My friend has one of these and when he was looking for a new mercedes he said he drove the v8s and then drove the 280 with a six and standard tranny and he said he fell in love with the way it drove compared to the V8s so he bought the 280.   He still has it all bundled up in a garage with probably 20,000 miles.   I want that car.

These are very popular (and rare) in the 107 community.  I have the US Model, V8 560SL, automatic of course, and I would love to have it with the positive feel that I get in my 113, 280SL, 4 Speed manual.  GLWTS!
