When you absolutely need the best and perhaps costliest tool.
Isn't it cool when you can use the terms "machined" or "billet" or "anodized" in your true description?
I must say I'm impressed. I don't gap enough plugs (Didn't Dan Caron say his plugs were in for 10 years?) to warrant such a purchase, but that doesn't take away from the cool factor.

Cool or not it's not worth the money...

Im going to have to start using the word "cooliest"
As far as that tool you found, I think it is more likely found in tool boxes of lunar rocket and Indy car mechanics.

If there is a part, that costs a lot and thus is worth saving by checking if still within specs, I will invest in a tool to do so.
But for a spark plug, of which the most expensive varieties I am using cost still less than $10.- per piece, I would find it hard to justify spending over $100.- for a checking device.

All that money and you still need a feeler gauge! For that money l’d want it to be telepathic and know what size gap is needed for my particular car, then gold plate my spark plugs and fitted them back in 😂
