That must be still quite a lot.
I have checked a few years ago the number of Pagodas via the official Dutch car register.
I the Netherlands where, at that moment, 337 230SL, 101 250 SL and 243 280SL, total 681.

Good stuff. Fun to watch all these.

Hi,

We have a handy website called HowManyLeft. A look on that, by marque/model is showing as taxed/driveable (so excludes those locked away in collections or waiting resto so declared as "exisiting" but not used on the road)
230SL - 275
250SL - 150
280SL - ~250 (this is harder to identify as you get mixed up with 107s and 129s and imports but 250 are identifiable as having been originally registered 67-71)
The numbers are rising, so the number that are "alive" & trace their original UK registration back to (say) 1965 is lower than today (imports)
In the Collections/off-the-road groups
230SL - +110
250SL - +40
280SL - +75

In a thread from way back (2006) Longtooth did an analysis (Reply #41).
https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=4496.41 (https://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?topic=4496.41)
I find it reasonable. Perhaps the 20 000 remaining that Longtooth mentions are on the low side, as there are a number of derelict cars hiding in barns and sheds.
In later years, as the Pagoda has increased in value, many cars have been restored, and are now registered and on the road.
So, personally I would estimate the remaining number of W113 Pagoda cars in the World to be around 50% of the cars produced; i.e. 24 000 (this includes the still remaining but derelict ones)

Did you licence that music? If not I'm surprised youtube haven't pulled it.
-
If you read what is written under the vidéo, you'll learn (like me !) that the music rights holders have agreed to authorize the use of their title...They like may be the Mercedes Pagoda !

because there price are valuable now a days am sure they all going to came back in life again .... its worth restoring them .

Gentlemen
If we will evaluate the total number of all remained Pagodas we have ad also the number of the Pagodas what are restored and not registered ( Pagodas in collections or in the showrooms of the dealers).
The question is how big can be this number?
-
My 2c worth.
I would guess between 30% and 50% of the original production numbers. So maybe 40% is a fair estimate?
Of course this information and AU$4.50 will buy you a nice Cappuccino in Melbourne.

And can somebody determine how many Pagods are still in the US?
Once 30-40% of Pagodas were sold to the USA. Now I see only reverse trend. So I'm curious
how many Pagodas are left in the US?
