Title: Interior Dash Chrome: Checkered Look

Does anyone know where I can find material that matches (or is close to) our "checkered look" chrome trim that surrounds the heater controls and goes across the dash??

Not interested in replacing what I have.  I want to use similar material to make a radio face plate.  So... I need a piece about 7.5" long X 3" wide.

Down here we have a a well stocked metal supply company that sells a variety of textured metals sheets, either stainless steel or polished aluminum: https://www.industrialmetalsupply.com/Products/Specialty-Metals. One can usually find some remnants that they sell of cheaply.
Perhaps you have a similar one up north.
