Title: Seen In Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Hi,
Been in Dubai, for my sins, but spotted on the main drag from Dubai to Jebel Ali was a silver MB with the top down pushing at least 140 to 150 Kph. Not sure of the model type as I was in a taxi turning off as it zoomed by in the outside lane
Was it you????

I believe that's where our member Mo Khatib lives. He owns a silver 280SL he recently purchased from the US.

Malc,
I must admit that it was me in the silver Pagoda. I live close to the Media City on the way to Jebel Ali. I was "testing" the car, and I think it passed the test  :)
I look forward to having few things repaired (suspension; engine leaks; soft top; interior). I ordered a bunsh of parts from SLS in Germany and some from K&K. I am hoping to haviing it finished in a couple of weeks. Will post pics then.
Please get in touch with me if you have a trip to Dubai in the Future. Would love to take you for a "test" on Sheikh Zayed Road....on the road section passed the radar detectors ;)

We will be in Dubai airport at 3 a.m. Sunday but only to change planes.  Wish we could take you up on your offer--that must be something to breeze down those glittering streets in such a posh car!
