Title: Bumper Support Color

Previously someone had stated that the front & rear bumper brackets (supports) were painted in body color. Is this correct. Mine were flat grey, although I do not think they were original, and the chrome shop did not want to chrome them. What color should I paint them ?

Mine are satin black - including one that has been replaced.
