Title: Checking transmission oil level, may help.

With old , well used Pagodas with auto transmissions,the
dipstick on these after years of use, can get very dark almost black
like mine,so a small helpful tip is to ,use a piece of  wet and dry 240-320 weight
and clean the lower about 5 inches until shiny.
This helps amazing in reading the level of oil present.
