Title: fuel pump impeller
Post by: MP on May 05, 2020, 17:57:29
I have taken my non working pump apart and this is what I have got, it looks like it might be dirty petrol has made grooves in the impeller and other surfaces.
The filter was partly blocked which I have cleaned. Is the pump any good with the grooves or should I bin it?
Grateful for any opinion.

Maurice

It depends on what pressure the pump will deliver. If you can get 10 to 11 psi, you could continue to use the pump. As for "binning " it, the good parts on the pump can be sold, so they are not trash.
