Any opinions on this one?

Give it a miss.  There are far more original undoctored Pagodas around for that big price.

Scrolling down the pictures there is an engine shot of a different car with a V8 then the actual engine of the pagoda.  The seller doesn't know his car very well.

He has the car cover on the ground to collect dirt also.  The car doesn't look bad though.  We have all seen worse...

Hi Guys,
Welcome Lightblue, you have come to the right place.
The second engine photo might prove that the original engine is still in the car.

I have found most people don’t know what a V6 or V8 is. I have had guys looking at my 1929 Chevy with the cowls open, in broad day light.  Then the inevitable question from an ‘enthusiast’........”Is it a V6?” 😳😳

Regards

I see a mid 70's lincoln Mark 4 in the garage in one of the shots.  I assume that is the "Extra engine".

I echo a lot of what the previous commentary states.  I can see that the soft top is in need of replacing, the leather seats coverings have been replaced with a very inexpensive leather, and someone put a standard DIN sized radio in the dash......and a Europa II stereo?  All Pagodas came with only one speaker, not 4.  While it is a seemingly nice example,  it's not a $70,000 car.  In reality it might bring $30,000-$35,000.  I do love the dark red.  It's a color that I think makes a Pagoda stand out.  And with the dark color on the dash against all of the chrome it creates a stunning contrast that's easy on the eyes! :)
