Title: Becker radio small-face chrome surround bevel dimensions

I own a German delivered 1964 230SL and looking to purchase a period correct Becker Radio.  The previous owner installed a radio/cassette and mounted 2 speakers in the trunk at the back wall.  My dashboard radio mount plate opening measures 7.25”x 1.75” (181 mm x 44 mm).  Can anyone out there give me the dimensions of a small-face chrome surround bevel for a Europa TR and Grand Prix?  I want to check if it would completely cover the cut-out in my dashboard.  Pictures are attached.

It looks like the opening hasn't been compromised....at least according to your measurements.  The slim face opening should measure about 45mm high and about 183mm wide.

It is not quite clear what you mean with " a small-face chrome surround bevel". A small face Becker or Blaupunkt radio for a 230SL attaches to a separate metal cover in front of the dashboard. Take a look at the photos here (scroll down):  https://www.sl113.org/wiki/Electrical/Radio.

Thanks you all for responding.  Attached is a closer view that shows a small piece of the dash was cut out on both left and right sides. I’m hoping these would be covered up when placing the chrome trim.  Anyone have the outside edge to outside edge measurement of the trim piece for a slim-face Europa and Grand Prix?

That is so nice of you to loan this part!  If you could just give me the outside measurements that would be great.  I’m hoping it is close to 7-1/4” (180 mm) wide.

It's 180 mm.  See pic.
