Title: BURIED IN THE MIX
Post by: John Betsch - "SADIE" on March 25, 2020, 19:20:13
I think my initial inquiry has gotten  buried, so I will try again

Can one of our experts provide some clarification please?

In the Tech Manual, there is reference by Peter Lesler that the troubleshooting light (engine bay plug in) was a Bosch part.

On ebay, there are many offerings (at widely diverse pricing) that KACO was the
"official" correct MB part.

If anyone might have a period dealer option booklet or some other source, can it be explained which, if either is was the correct light etc?

I was looking through the internet for the quoted Bosch number. I found traces - there was a lamp like that, but I could not find any picture.

Here is a picture of the Bosch.
Note that the Bosch has a silver/grey squeeze (clamp) frame while the Kaco is black.
