Title: Engine for 230SL- SOLD!!!

Offer my Mercedes Benz original 230 SL Engine- M127.981-10.
The engine is in good technical condition with all accessories (plug and play), has good compression values, maximum oil pressure, exhaust gas without blue smoke.
The engine and the injection pump (R11) got new tuning.
In the pictures, the engine is on the test stand.
A video from a trial run can be sent via What’s Up.
Motor will be sold without gearbox, is in original condition, but needs some cosmetics.

Price 7.900 Euro + shipment costs

Have also M129 und M130 on stock

Hi. I am in India and would like to keep a spare engine for my early 230SL. Is it a running engine, when was it last used. How many miles on it and was it restored earlier? Does it have both the manifolds and what is the condition of the fuel injection pump. Could you please send some more pictures .

Hello Anosh,
The engine was last time started as I posted this ad. But the donor 1963 Pagoda run in Austria until the end of the 80'ies. Engine is complete and in original condition – it was never rebuild. I do not know the millage- but on the exhaust manifold is still a lot of original paint. Acording to the seller the Pagoda was used occasionally.
In the meantime my mechanic rebuild the fuel injection pump, so now the R11 pump is restored. If you use Whats Up please send me a PM with your number- so I can send you more pictures with all necessary key values and the video of the engine run.

unfortunately in the meantime the engine has been sold. This is the bad news.
The good one is ,that my friend has also such an engine. And I still have for this engine a spare R11 pump (FIP) with new tuning.
