Hi
Is this item still available? Also, do you think the air con unit at the back could be moved to the left hand side to make suitable for a rhd pagoda?

Hi it's still available, I still have to make a box for transport.
Of course it is possible, but it's not an easy job I guess.

I’m just working on my Frigiking.
In my view, if you are a bit handy it’s well doable.
Of course, the box has to be moved in the unit from right to left, no problem.
The control unit has to be moved, also no problem.
What is maybe more difficult is the rooting of the tubes to the compressor and condenser.
-
Didn’t think of tubes to compressor and condenser :-[
Excuse my naivety, are not the compressor and condenser in the engine bay, or are they part of the unit that sits in the ‘cabin’?
Think I might have to try and look at an installation manual!

Please have a look at:

and attached layout.
Success!

Thank you 😁
Thinking a little out of the box. I wonder if modern air con units might be a little more efficient and smaller which could then just be ‘plugged’ into the older unit in the cabin.
Wonder if anyone has tried that?

Hi,
I have an under dash unit like the one you sold and my long plastic piece along the top is very broken. Is the one on your unit metal or plastic? Did you fabricate yours or was it original. I seem to remember seeing pictures of a unit disassembled with new parts for reassembly.
If you could tell me what you did to rebuild yours and how you did it, that would be greatly appreciated. Any pictures would be great also. Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill,
All the parts I used are the original parts.
I cleaned the plastic and powder coated the steel parts.
I only bought new decals with the name and function of the rotating knob.

It looks great! I need to fabricate the 2 long straight plastic pieces. Thanks so much for the pictures.
