Title: Help find missing part or template for missing part
Post by: Chris Long on January 01, 2020, 15:35:55
Hi

Looking underneath the car last night and it appears I'm missing the cover in the tunnel - See highlighted parts in image.

Part numbers are:
113-683-02-10 Cover
110-683-02-98 Seal
00791 004219 Screw Qty 6

I've looked around but they aren't coming up as available. Anyone have any ideas or be able to help with producing a template of theirs?

Thanks in advance, CJL

It says not in stock but available for order.  Maybe contact them first and see if possible

Have you checked the passengers footwell for parts?

Is this the item? From SLS and they show available.

Here is another from Authentic Classics

In MB:
1. I see the seal in the EPC A 003 989 54 85 for about $5, but this may be just sealing tape by meter, I am not sure.
2. Screws N 000000 000453, 6 pcs.
3. Cover - indeed, not available.

If you go for authentic Classic (which is what I would do if I were you in the US), ask them to add sealing tape for this part. I also glued a piece of sound dumpening mat on this cover.

All you really need is to make a copy from an original cover and then make your own. Should be fairly easy to do.

That plate screws in from the inside of the car under the carpet.  If you remove the passenger floor carpet and peel up the tunnel carpet it might be laying there.

Actually, I had a very similar thought :). It is very natural to forget to fit it back  :) :)

Thanks for the advice - Will look before purchasing especially if I have to lift the carpet anyway!

Hey Arct1k,

I have found that Jeff Foland from TCM is a good contact for used body parts. he is located in MD call him at 410 526 4495. I am sure that he will have that part.
