I am looking for a torque converter for a 230sl automatic. It is the 6 bolt design, three pairs of two bolts.
I prefer the version with the welded hub over the aluminum or riveted hub versions, but will consider all, even ones needing repair.
Thanks.

Not sure if you still need this. Had mine rebuilt for $250 CDN dollars @ Convertor Man. You can find them online in Etobicoke, Ontario Canada.
Hope this helps,

You have the later transmission if it has 6 screws. I just finished a '66 230SL and it had a flywheel with 4 screws.

I didn't think our SLs had "torque converters"? They are hydraulic clutches...?!?
